Please hold all the laughter. This was my first tiem ever running at a strip. Ever.



1st run vs a big block Elcamino was right on his bumper side by side off the line.

2nd run vs a SN95 GT had 1/2 a car to a car on me

3rd run and my most embarrasing one vs a Civic hatch. had car 1/2 on me it was my slowest tiem but fast mph.


Next time I go out I will have a lil more to bring.

work on the 60 foot with a 2.3 you would think you were fwd

That truck has some more to go just look at your mph...More tunning ect. we should see low 10's Then do some others to get you in the low 9's maybe high 8's

 

Yeah it was fun as hell. I'm not trying to break any record here just messing around with it. I mean noone seems to be doing anythig nwith this new motor minus Rousch's 5k s/c kit and a few exhaust boltons. I'm curious what it will do. Next step is to get some decent tires on the back and install the nitrous kit I have or pawn it off and get a better one for it. If anything it was fun to see how the different tunes work on it w/o getting a ticket. Still haven't figured wich one was the best.That was a big plus since I have taken a liking to my $85 a month full coverage insurance. I know that next time I will have to run with at least 1/2 a tank of gas cause it tends to slosh and kinda dies out for a second when below 1/4 a tank. It's all fun till I find another Mustang to please my need for speed.

 

It was a blast cant wait to tinker on that motor I think We should make a trip up to sam or call him and see waht he thinks we should do for easy mods to make a little more power and maybe hit her up on the dyno...
