The 31 spline Ford diff is cheap and take quite a bit of abuse, its about a third of the price of an Eaton.

where can i get a TA girdle? i havent seen them anywhere for sale yet.

i got the UPR girdle and it still leaks (note" dont use the gaskets with black RTV) and as far as the rear end i'd go with Ford's Traction Lock with 31 splines (moser/superior/etc.. ) and 3.73 gears

the traction lock is easy to rebuild and holds up well.
