Default My fastback is on hold for a while...

Well, had grand plans and a tight schedule for my 67, but we decided to purchase a couple jetskis for our weekend pleasure. So the 67 will be on hold for a while.

Something good that comes from this - Wife wants to expedite building our garage so the skis dont get nasty. So in a few months I should have about a 5-6 car garage to play with.

I thought about that too...personal watercraft for the summer and Stangs and racing in the winter. Now all I need is the "extra" six grand to do it.

We did conventional financing, but if you REALLY wanted to bury yourself, you could get the Kawasaki plan - its 4.99 for 2 years and a payment of $49 for those 2 years. Then you can either refi the remaining balance, or let Kawai charge you 9.99 on the balance.

Either way, if you're into speed, and I'm sure you are - Its going to cost you more then 6g's for a new one.

If you decide to get one, go to Action Jetsports in Bradenton (www.actionjetsports.com) - they are the best. The prices are great and they dont charge an assembly fee or anything like that.

The issue for me was that in the last couple of years, they have come out with fuel injection and 4-stroke motors for these. I didn't want anything with carbs again (had one in 9 and the price on skis 1 year old was pretty close to what I paid new.

Both. We are going to close in the bottom and extend it to the rear another 10 feet. Calling around today for garage door quotes.

PWC's are fun. But some people that fish hate them. Some call them "perwatermaniacs". Have a great time but look out for people in boats trying to fish.
If you are on the gulf, stay far away from the fishing piers. Have a blast and stay safe. Just consider people chasing schools of tarpon off the beach. It takes time to set yourself up for a school of rolling tarpon so they come into casting range. Hours of hard work could be in vain by a few skis.
Don't get me wrong, all people should enjoy the water. It's just that some don't respect the others. Plenty of room for all, and all should play together.
BTW: I like the skis but don't tell me fishing buddies.
