The car also has 30# injectors in it for some reason and the fuel pressure was at 20 psi static. We figured that 20psi is way too low and decided to bump it up to around 30 since we dont think the MAF is calibrated for the injectors. Now its running REALLY rich and it wants to die but the IAC keeps it running. I know we need to change out the injectors but idk if 19's would be enough or does it need 24's? The car has a cam, intake mani, 70mm tb, 70mm egr spacer, fenderwell intake, full exhaust, and from what the previous owner told Brandon it has heads too. We dont have specs on the heads or cam right now. Maybe Brandon will get them from the previous owner and post them up.

Why not go and get it tuned up? If the previous owner had 30s on there, there must have been some reason. Was he spraying it?
I can't imagine having those injectors without the matching Mass Air. I would talk to the previous owner and then get it to a dyno.

We found 4 holes in the trunk and the previous owners name is bottlefed93. He said the car had nitrous on it but it was never used, I find that hard to believe since the car has 30# injectors in it. My guess is it had to be sprayed with a BIG shot to need that much fuel. The MAF is a stock Ford MAF, it could be modified but I dont think so. My Pro M MAF has injector size and ECU code engraved in the top of it, I would think other companies would have something similar.

If you're running 30# injectors with a 19# mass air meter, your fuel delivery is all gefugled. Your will be running rich and the effects will vary depending on the load. You need to match up your meter with the injectors and maybe even chip it or get a Tweecer, PMS or similar. Your fuel pressure on a Fox should be be set at 39 with the vacuum line off (stock). If you're having to back it off that far to get it to run, it's no wonder things are wacko.

He does have a different MAF housing, I didnt even think about that. The car runs REALLY rich at idle and backfires when you drive it. I thought it was 42 psi also, my Cobra was 42 static

Stock fuel psi is 42 static, you might want to find out what kind of maf housing he's using, cuz if he's using a C&L he might need to order the sampling tube, they sent me a tube for 19's and i had 24's and it the same thing, it ran as rich as a bitch, and when you got on it and backed off it would pop through the the exhaust
