Default options

the first thing i would do is put a rearend gear in it, maybe a 3.73 or a 3.90, pullies are an ok upgrade, i would only suggest steedas, all the other piggyback systems are junk, mass air meter is an option also, you can call me at the shop if you need any more questions'

Bolt on a Vortech with an aftercooler and be done with it.

4.10/4.30s and some drag radials.. then weld up a couple flowmasters and turndowns with an o/r h or x pipe.

i think 4.30's are a little to high in my limited experience, i hated those gears, it would rev through the powerband too fast.

Yea, yours is a little different though. First your car is way faster so it's gonna pull through the gears way faster than a bolt on cobra, and it doesn't rev quite as high effectively (at least I wouldn't think it would pull as high as the 4v motors do) and the 4v n/a motors lack a lot of low end power.

It seems a lot of the n/a 4v guys have great success with 4.30s/4.56 gears.

I'm running a set of 4.56 gears and I've only got a little old pushrod engine.
