need opinions on what to do
put a 4.10 or numarically higher gear in there. Im putting a 4.10 in mine but I also plan on a power adder down the road. 4.30 if you like going to the track on the weekends and a 4.56 if its a track only car.

Personally I would try and pay off the parents loan they took out to get you the car, make sure I can afford making payments, insurance, gas, etc., start saving for college next year (unless you're going to spc). It works just fine right now, a huge accomplishment over the past. You should enjoy having reliable transportation, and be thankfull your parents helped you out of that mess of a civic with a decent car.
You cant afford another headache matt!

bah..... what fun would that be
Eric i think that would be the smartest thing to do! If he ruins this car like he did the civic i think i would personally have to lay the smack down! Matt pay your parents back and then worry about adding stuff! Your car is fast now dont start throwing your money into it now! Just be satisfied with what you got! And start saving for SPC! jfwy
Now that you have a ford you cant keep talkin like you're mr. vtec himself you hearz wut I sayin mad tyte fo shizzle ? Technically you havent run at the track yet, so Im counting on you to break the car before we go, which would mean I beat you there. And lastly, use w/e money you somehow have and fix your little incident where you crashed into a parked car (that includes fixing your aunts smashed in front end and your rear bumper)
and to see if you know anything about the car yet,
is that a t45 or t56 in there?
what brand/size mass airflow did you say you had?
was that an h or x-pipe?
what size/brand of headers do you have?
what size exhaust do you have? is it a cat-back?
what brand mufflers do you have?
did you ever pull out the computer to see what kind of chip you've got?
what wheels do you have on there?
what kind of underdrives were you gonna get?
As far as mods, id start with basic maintenance.
change the oil, use synthetic, make sure you use the right weight.
change fuel filter.
check the plugs/gap, if they show signs of running lean, check the tune.
while you're under the hood open her up and check the IMRC's for build up seeing as you have no idea how many miles are on the car since you bought it with a non-working odometer.
