Which Heads for my 2V
so im going to be making my 2V a real beast here in about 3 months and im tired of running every bolt-on GT in the area and it being a close ass race all the way threw the race. im also tires of 260rwhp n/a, im in search on 300+rwhp n/a out of my 2V and heads are my only answer cause i dont want to spend $1000's of dollars on bolt on that only make for 5-15rwhp at a time.
i got all my supporting mods lined up and im trying to decide on which heads to purchase.
should i buy a set of Patriot heads Patriot 2V Heads
or should i find myself a set of stock casting PI heads and have them worked by TEA and a nice set of comp cams out in there?
now should i just buy the Patriot cams for $400 with purchase of heads? or should i go with a set of Crower or Comp cams for around $700 for the set?
i know i will be spending quite a bit of money for the entire set-up, so i want to do it right the first time and then if i opt for a different longblock down the road i will already have a set os nice heads.
im not going forged internals yet or anything so dont even suggest it please. this will be my next mod besides my Weld wheels, long tubes, and pro-chamber i already have on the way.

The 2-valves don't respond well to bolt ons, sure you can pick up 5-10 horse here and there but they need a good kick in the ass,I would suggest a nice set of rods, good pistons,up the compression and your heads worked with a nice set of Comp cams. Then spray the shit out of it,unless you want boost. Then do the same but lower the compression and get blower cams.
i would go with VT heads, partriot is have problems with valve guide/seats falling out and distroying engines. as for cams most 2V cams are $400-$450 not $700 shop around ive seen comps and crowler for less than $450

VTs are proven and they have superb customer svc, Fox Lake kicks ass, TEA has a good reputation also, though they haven't done as many mod motor heads as the other two I mentioned.
