come on man, the only labor would be to have the heads assembled. surely you could bolt up the heads and intake. you know you want to do it...

We just installed a set of Comp Cams in an 01 GT this week. Part number was XE270AH. We had to flycut the pistons with these cams. The car was an automatic, but it still picked up 40rwhp with the swap.

We also did a PI head swap on a 97 last week and used a set of the Comp Cams that the customer supplied us with. The part number for the cams was XE262H. Not problem with P/V clearance with these.

so the comp 262's and the VT heads will net me a nice power gain and i wont have to notch my pitsons?

still havent decided on the P51 intake yet, but i really wanted that rough Idle from my cams. i love the sound of a lumpy ass cam in a V8. that is why i was shooting for the XE274H cams, but from what i am taking i wil have to notch the pistons and that will put my car down for longer than i was wanting.

I'd spring for the largest cam possible.. it would be worth the wait if your looking for the most power..

notching pistons really isnt all that big of a deal.

Beehive springs are must with any decent cam on Mod motors, IMO.
I do not know the specs on VT heads. So, I am assuming they are bare and only ported to a stage 2? Good luck with the build..

what kind of price are you looking for
