I would decide what your ultimate goal is (pure race, strip/street (emphasis on strip), street/strip (emphasis on street).

dont tempt me asshole, a 10K down payment along with my 03 GT will make the cobra very easy to get. but i dont know what i want to do, i even toyed with the idea of putting on a Pro Turbo Kit set-up on and seeing what i can do with that. but i know if i go that extreame then i will end up building a new block within the year.

might just go ahead and find my ass an 04 Cobra and damn near pay that beotch off.........

I DONT KNOW!!!!!!

Sounds like a damn good idea, just put $8k down instead and $2k for parts.

only way i would buy a Cobra, is if it was in Sonic blue or Comp. Orange color. and those 2 colors will be very hard to find now, seeing as how there are only 281 orange and thats the one i really want......

i guess ill wait and see what i can find when i get home.

you would take a big hit if you traded that in now. if you plan on putting on a blower/ turbo and goin 400+ hp you will need to upgrade the internals, my car is a prime example. if i got that money all at once there is no way i would spend it all on a car and i have a good amount tied up in mine.

The Cobra is the way to go IMO it has a stronger motor and its already supercharged........Just think youll get your gt so far then the motor wont be able to take it anymore.....Or you could just start out with the cobra which you can make alot faster for alot less.......and still have a dependable car.....The cobra also looks alot better.........Comp. Orange is the nicest looking color imo.......Gl with whatever you decide to do though.....Oh and dont forget to do something about that IRS I have heard bad things.....
