The whipple VS KB debate is so boring these days..

I understand it being rebranded, thats not what i was getting at. I was getting at the fact that the Auto Rotor design itself is garbage. Any time a brand new blower comes in making noise before its even on the car, to me thats a shitty design.
How many Whipple's have locked up/failed???

There are no solid stats on how many KB's have failed VS how many whipples have failed. I've heard banter back and fourth on SVTP and modularfords between both camps.. I've heard stories of both having failures. You're always going to have a few rotten eggs in the high performance world. The autorotor design itself is fine from a compressor point of view.. Whatever problems they might have with the snouts can/has been remedied. The only solid stat you will be able to find is there are a lot more KB's out there than whipples..
It's really like the blondes vs brunettes comparison as so many people have pointed out in past threads. I personally was going to go with a KB 2.2L before I decided to go the TT route.
Heres some info, take a gander at it.
