2003 Mustang Cobra Supercharger
 

I have an 03 GT as well as my camaro. Ive seen that the cobra superchargers can be bought online, for cheap, the stock eaton ones. I was wondering what all I would have to buy and do to make one of theese work on my gt. im going to assume it wouldnt just bolt up? im not to farmilliar with this car, as I just have it to drive, but in the interest of this cheap deal I am curious.

my 03 GT has a K&N and a hypertech tuner, thats it.

The cobras are 4 valve and the gt's are 2 valve so I am pretty sure that it won't work! But you can always try the supercharger that they run on the saleen!

Just get a vortec. It will bolt on much easier and require a lot less extra parts.

i am 99% sure they two dont bolt up, and to be honest i dont think its worth it because you will more then likely need injectors and stuff still, so a kit might be a better, easier and safer route

Are the 03 Cobra roots blowers different than the roots blowers that are on Saleens and Roushs (both 2v motors)?? I know the intake manifold is different.

There is a reason so many cobra owners get rid of the eaton...Get a KB, Procharger or Vortech you will be happier im sure!

I am not positve but i remember seeing something about the saleen and rousch S/C's actually being a twin screw type deal. :dunno:

get the saleen IV supercharger its th best twin screw out besides the kb 2.2

KB is just like TRD they throw their name on anything and call it their own....KB is actually the only authorized distributor in the USA for Autorotor and they are pieces of shit! i wouldnt put a KB on my car if you gave it to me and paid me to use it.

If your wanting a real twin screw go Whipple...
