test fit, we put all bolts on loosely before tightening them.

all tightened down, view from top.

you really need an impact to get these off. thanks again big b for the compressor.

look at this crap, grind these bolts down on two sides, i hope......


one side mocked up, making sure for fit, painting the struts/spindles black. car will be pewter.

Steve, you should've told me you were going to do this prior, I already had modified the bolts for the K-member. Also, you need to get rid of that rag joint in your steering shaft.. I've got the one from mine that had the universal setup on it. let me know if you want it.

ground the nuts down to bolt the k memeber in. kids wear eye protection, dont be an idiot like me.

it was really simple to bolt the shocks to the spindles(shims required), coilovers are much easier to operate than that stock stuff.

the caster camber plates bolted up with no problem.

both sides bolted up without much hassle.


time for lots of sanding....

if you looks closely at this picture, you can see the nuts size in relation to the stud it goes on, there is a super highres pic in my gallery.
the shims are because the width of the v8 spindle, which i changed from the smaller 4cyl/pre 87 brakes (~10"). they go between the shock and the spindle.
