intake question: no rear coolant crossover

intake question: no rear coolant crossover

i'm looking at some carb intakes, and some i see have no rear coolant crossover, just wondering what types of problems i might run into if i run one of these, anyone have any experience with one? i realise it might make it run a bit hotter, but how does the water re route and what not,?

after looking at my stock 5.0 today, it looks as if the stocker doesn't have a rear crossover, just a port that runs to the TB i think... so i guess it will be ok.... ?

Im pretty sure they are all like that. The TB bypass gets coolant from the heater core hardline that runs over the intake to the firewall. most ppl usually block that off anyway.
