1/4 windows
The molding on my 1/4 windows for my hatch have started bubbling and makes the car look like shizit, I've got 3 options. 1.) replace the entire window($350.00 new) 2.) stang zone has a rubber cover that goes over the existing rubber($85.00) 3.) get them sanded down and refinished.
Has anybody used the one's that go over the existing one's? FOXBODYPAT if your're out there, give me the guys # who refinished your windows, I want these down asap.

My brother-in-law has the Steeda covers and I am not sure how they would look with the factory drip mouldings since his car no longer has them. They do come shinny black and are just held on with double stick tape. I remember pics of your car, if I were you, I would just buy the $350 ones. I've got those on my list of shit to buy, too.

if you spray paint them it will fill in some of the toughness and make it look better, i know its not the best soloution, but it is a way to get a bit moe life out of them

Sand, prime, sand, prime, sand......then paint. Leaves you with the option to make them satin again, go gloss black or even the color of the car.
Painted with good automotive paint (not flat black spray can) they will even last a long time. I've seen more than one set of the *covers* all sticking out, hanging off and looking like ass.
