Default drag radials

I am considering a set of drag radials for my car. How will my car handle launching with them? Will it be like a honda and snap axles (not hating, they just break them alot) or will I be safe running them? I know anything is possible, But I mean is it likely to break stuff?

Unlikely, but anything is possible.

If your worried about breakin stuff, you should give up racing.

I've got a set of Nitto 555R's coming Tuesday, I'll let you know after I put them on. I don't think you're going to snap an axle though.

I have them on my car........They work good ......They work even better if Heat them up.......I heat them up and dump it at around 5k and I am gone They spin about once....But With my old tires I could dump it at 2k and spin through 1st and 2nd.....So traction has improved alot......Havnt broke anything yet had them on car for 3k miles.......

on a gt you shouldn't break anything, but once againg, anything is possible........ just use the water box, do a quick spin and you should be good to go.........

the ford rears are really tough.........

I can't wait to try them out. I spin through 1st and 2nd as well, sometimes when I dump it in 3rd it will break loose. No more of that crap. How much time do you think a good set of drag radials will take off a 1/4 mile run, like I said it spins through 2nd now, and I 've got to feather it out of the hole at about 2k rpms with regular tires.
