Default 3" Mac Catback w/ stainless tips

Has anyone seen/heard anyone using this setup? I am going to put a set of Mac 1-3/4 long tubes w/ 3 inch collectors, a 3 inch mach pro chamber h pipe on the car. I was wondering how the catback systems from mac sound? The kit has the flowtubes, muffler and stainless tips. they are the ony kit I found that has 3 inch pipes that go over the rear end. The bold up on top of the axles. Are there any other kits that do that? I want to get away from the dumps I used to run.

I can't wait to dyno the car.

I think that set-up would be nice, louder at WOT than dumps, but quieter at idle.

I prefer the MAC peices as well. versatile, easy to get ahold of, some people say they have fitment issues, but last time I checked when putting headers in, I dont think it has even been a walk in the park.

I just put Mac shorties on my cousins car and let me tell you, there headers suck ass!!I now know why people say they have fitment issues with them.I think their Mid-pipes and cat-backs are nice, but headers I would say go with BBK for a good build and price.

hmm, they odnt make the Lt's with 3 in collectors for my car or 3 in prochamber, I am thinking of getting the headers and having a collector welded onto them and getting a fox body 3 in prochamver and having it fit for all 3 in

I have that catback and its great, no problems and I enjoy the sound of it, I would not go flowmaster over that system

MAC stuff almost never fits right...get used to it or buy somethin else..they arent changin for u, me or anyone else. I've installed their stuff since it hit the market and with few exceptions..its mostly cheap shit. That said, I was willing to give them the bene of the doubt when i installed a brand new complete MAC 3" exhaust system from longtubes to tailpipes on my friends 93 LX with stock engine location and nothing modded to affect exhaust fitment. They didnt dissappoint either as I'm now looking at having to modify it to fit. Im not saying their stuff cant be made to work.. but Im also saying that when installing it..YOU will be made to work.

I havento had to much problems with them, what problems I do encounter are always with there headers. As for the Mid pipes, never had a problem, and for catbacks the bggest deal i had was the tailpipes were cockeyed, but a prybar and a hot torch fixed that easily.
