Great fun! Where do you live?

We were looking for a races, and after we freight trained the 93 we were cruising along and Jeff was like damn theres another Cobra right in front of us, and I was like "ohh shit it's got a Procharger, this should be a good race". At frist we thought you were trying to avoid us the way you were manovering on the bridge, I told Jeff your girlfreind was probably telling you not to race us while she was in the car, obviously she's cool as shit, my wife won't let me race anyone with her in the car. You were definately pulling on us when you were in 3rd maybe because you had the extra gear mutiplication at that time because when you shifted into 4th we pulled back up on you a little. You guys are pretty close power wise. Both stock motors with blowers. Next time you can race my car too, it's got a completely stock motor only it has a turbo.

I wasn't necessarily trying to avoid you but I don't race unless I know the other guy wants to. I was waiting on you to make it obvious. Boy and did he.
The wife usually freaks out a little but she was cool last night. Didn't tell me to slow down or anything. Just said very calmly, "You're gonna get a ticket..."

I fear the turbo. Wish I had the cheese for a twin setup.:bang:

Glad I'm finally starting to meet some people.

Yeah we gave you a little nudge before the bridge, I guess it was too subtle. It's ok to fear the turbo, I pull on Jeff about as hard as he pulled on that 93 Cobra. How much was you're procharger kit? I know the twin turbo kits are pretty pricey, like $6k or something. I'm glad mine only cost $4k, although with the twin kit you do get all the trick tubular suspension and stuff. Ohh and I live over in Seffner, just east of Tampa.

The setup was all priced up together. (i.e. injectors, MAF, exhaust, gauges, pod, etc) It came out to be over 6k.

The best TT company I've seen for 4.6 cars is Induction Concepts (www.inductionconcepts.com). They run $8,700 for pre 03 Cobras. The "entry" kit will take you to 1000hp.

Yeah I think for $6k you could have gotten the HP kit. That induction concepts kit is really nice.

The thing that is good about iduction concepts, from what I can tell, is that as each customers kit is worked on, there are constant updates and picutres to their forum on the progress. There is a waiting line to get a kit, but at least you know exactly where you stand at all times - unlike many turbo companies.

Been thinking about turbo too - either that or a mod motor

Very true. That's why I think they are one of the better turbo companies. They stay intouch with there clients.

I say you go both turbo'd and mod motor.
Then you could give SoL_93GT a run for his money.

heh ^^ thought about that. I can barely afford to think about a turbo or a mod motor, let alone both at the same time. But that would be killer!

A turbo'd 03/04 Cobra motor would be the shizzle fo rizzle my nizzle.

Things are making sense now. I just discovered that the previous owner was holding out on me. For what I have NO idea. He said the car actually makes 440/420 as it sits. I'm thinking he wanted to keep that dyno sheet for himself...?

Anyway, I hope to get it dyno'd next weekend to find out for sure.
