rev limiter on 04 gt?

yeah i know but im worried about hearing a loud boom or somthing (thats just the way my luck with cars seems to go)

tonight, i tried to ease up to the rev limiter and i had the digital tach (when you hold down the mileage reset button and start the car) and i hit all the was up to 6800 and then i got scared....maybe they did forget the revlimiters on the 02's bro....plus C & D says that they are limited at 138 mph and ive had mine well over 145 mph (on the track of course
)....so maybe we beat the system this time my friend...

how wierd is that, where the fuck are the limiters? 
i know on my other 99GT i hit the speed limite JUST under 140, like a hair like away so im guessing 138-139 and it stopped. thats really wierd, today when i leave ill try, i wont go over 6500 though

ok so i did it, it hit at about 6000..
and i just realized i messed up the tittle, its supposed to say 02 not 04, same thing though.

you have to try it like this:
1. hold down the odometer reset button
2. start the car while holding down the odometer reset button
3. hold the button until the word test appears
4. then continue to hit the button until the word "tach 1223" (those are just random # btw)
it will run until the car is turned off and restarted. there are some other interesting things in that menu too. ie fuel pressure, oil pressure, digital tachometer, and a bunch of other shit which i dont know what it means....but try it again and take a gander...
