You don't have to make gobs of power to tear them out,trust me,I did it with 231rwhp.It all depends on how hard the car hooks and how hard you launch it.

what kind of control arms are they?...are they MAC?, if they are i have the replacement bushings at my shop that are available at no charge...727-571-1996

Hey my buddy had the same problem happen with his coupe, he kept tearing through poly bushings, so he stepped upi and bought a new set of Steeda upper control arms with the new pressed aluminum bushing they look like the grantelli's but are black aluminum and are pressed in, they seem to work so far.

With the amount of punishment you inflict on the car, you may want to consider those battle boxes for the uppers and lowers. Forget who makes them though.

Wild Rides makes the battle boxes. I think there is a guy on eBay selling knockoff of them too. They are really no more than properly bent plates to weld in for reinforcement.
