By the way Vince, did you pick a tranny yet?

Yea, same heads. These have extensive port work, valve job. They have fierra valves, comp dual springs, milled.

Nope, tranny is still screamin for mercy. I need it to last a couple months. I'm broke now.

And yes Joe at fordspeed hooked me up with a stainless set of gt40p 1 5/8 headers. Some other standard shorty headers leave clearance for the spark plugs as well though.

2nd gear spins like 1st gear use to.

And yea, the last dyno when I ran 8.80's in the 1/8th was 186rwhp ... I think I can cut a pretty good time with 100 more rwhp.

The car made 280 @ 5700rpms.

An elec fan and u/d pulleys with my short belt to bypass p/s should kick me over 300. The a/f is a hair over 11.0:1.

Yea, it is still a little rich. We will be getting that sorted out in the next couple of weeks.

14.2 is a little too much on the lean side if you ask me.

I'm running 30# injectors is why we can't get it to stop running rich, but all I need is a little more power to utilize them, maybe a stroker shortblock?

The first pull we made it droped below 10:1.

Do you have an adjustable fuel pressure regulator?

280 is pretty good, once you get the fuel dialed in you should pick up a little more.

Congrats
