I'm not sure about a cheap tuner,but they say that filters work better when there dirty.LOL

As ricey as it may seem, have you looked into something similar to the AFC made by Apexi?

That has the ability to tune fuel across the board in very small increments.

I'm not sure if it works on the Mustangs, and/or how to make it work even. But there has to be something similar to this item.

Maybe an SDS style system? Clicky

how cheap is cheap? EEC tuner, Tweecer, and PMS are reasonably friendly (owned an eectuner, which is the most complicated, and it wasnt THAT bad).

Yup. You can pick up a used TwEECer R/T for about $450. Depends on your definition of cheap. I think that's cheap compared to say an AEM system.

talk to marksaccord95 about the megasquirt system........ i saw the program and it looked really good, and it is only like $150 or something..........
