EFI 351w into 88 Mustang GT.. HELP!!!!!!!
ok, ive got an 88 mustang gt, and a friend of mine is willing to sell me a complete and running EFI 351w for 600 bucks.. now, i got a few questions..
-can i use my termec t-5z tranny on it?
-how hard is this swap gonna be?
-what all am i gonna need? (motor, tranny, ecu, anything else?)
-will i be able to keep my a/c?
-can i use my same mounts and stuff?
this will be my first mustang swap, so if someone wants to help i will be glad to pay u, cook burgers and give beer, somethin i just know i wont be able to do this swap by myself lol...
that brings me to my next question... i live in an apt. and as most of u know these things have some strict ass rules and dont really allow u to work on cars, so if i cant "borrow" my uncles house and garage ill need a place to do it at, so like i said, just let me know please..

now your going in the right direction. you will need a new computer,intake,and oil pan for starters. motor mounts should work as with the trans. the a/c

eh, dont know if id use one out of a van. but you might be able to reuse most if not all things than. how big is the pan on it? id go with a 7 instead of a 5 like a stock 302. you might have to cut the k member than tho. ahh, memories.

You'll need a Mustang specific 351W oil pan and pickup, as well as headers. You'll need a different intake manifold, and probably different accessory brackets and maybe even accessories themselves. Then you'll need something for the EEC to compensate for the bigger motor. This is where that speed density will hurt you.
