Default Gear Install Help!!!

Rev Exteme wants 350 for labor, thats not including the install kit. I have the gears already, I just need to find some one or some place to do it for me. Can anyone help?

Call Joe or Rob @ Fordspeed, not sure of the prices. Don't shop for the cheapest price shop for the best service, price shopping will get you nothing but a car full of everyone eleses opinions except yours..

Oh come on you all know you want that whirring sound from a badly shimmed gear! Try Coastal, they definately know what they're doing.

Did mine myself, no noise. "Usually" - if you are using a motorsport gear to replace a motorsport gear, you can measure the shims and you should find that the shims from the original setup will transfer over to the new gears.

Likely the hardest part is crushing the new crush sleeve. I did mine on jackstands - my impact was not strong enough, had to use huge breaker bar and feet method

James from Race Related did mine, did a great job. I would also recommend Ford Speed and Coastal.

Jeff from blue oval corral did my gears, i bought a 3:73 gears and had them installed with all new bearings all the way around for $400.00 and havent had a lick of trouble. i highly recommend Blue oval for this project. 727-571-1996
