damn, that was the easiest question/answer ive ever seen on here

usually it would have taken 2 or 3 people saying that they wondered the same thing, 1 or 2 to ask if its a real R rim or a knock off, and finally one guy to say yes

lol, its like that on all forums.
well now that the question has been answered, heres one from me. i got stock pony wheels 16x7, and the tires are 245 45 16. now i cant find many wheels for my car. so im going to go 17" but with my car lowered, i dont want them to rub in the front when i turn the wheel all the way. i hear alot of people have that problem. any suggestions? like 17x8 with 225 40's maybe?

stock pony wheel is 16x8

no, if you have 8 inch wheels, minimum tire should be a 245, but you can eliminate the rub two ways, notch/remove the sway bar, or get steering limiters that keep you from turning the wheel enough to make the tires rub

now will they look goofy? because a friend of mine put too big of a tire on his rim and the sidewall of his tire look awfull, almost pointy at the top of the tire.

Nope. 315/35/17 555R will look great on a 17x9 wheel. The 315 555R isn't a true 315 width, a little less than that. It'll look good.
