Pulling the engine outta the beater tomorrow
The kit isn't ordered yet. I keep adding options that make it more expensive. I also wound up spending some money on a transmission setup earlier than planned because it was a good price, so that set the kit back a bit. (not much, but a little). I still need a supercoupe rear end too.
Rebuilding the motor and trimming down the wiring harness are gonna take me some and I'm not going to rush either one of them.
The goal is to have everything I need cleaned up and prepped before the kit shows up so that I'm not tempted to put anything on the car that is dirty or rusty.
If anyone wants to stop in today and lend a hand, you're more than welcome. PM me for directions. I'll have plenty of stuff to drink and am ordering pizza for lunch.

Got started around 9:30... had the motor out by 3:30 or so. Add in lunch and beer and I think we did good. That includes unloading the cherry picker and putting it together and taking apart and sending it back to it's owner.
Plus some down time searching for bolts long enough to put the engine on the stand with.

Good to see the project is moving along. Also good to see you putting clean parts into the kit. Seen way too many swaps where people don't take the time to clean the motor before dropping it into the car.
So with the new uber transmission setting you back a couple weeks/months...what is your estimated time of completion?
