Well, the engine needs rebuilt, so it's gonna be clean when it goes in. I've still gotta yank all the wiring for the kit and trim all the BS circuits out. I know somebody who wants the shell to turn into either a CP or AI car, so I'm selling of the interior and glass and stuff. (Interior is gray over black. Dash, center console and doors (power windows/locks) are in good shape).

After that, I need to find a rear out of a supercoupe (3.27 tractionlock diff and housing, cv joints, knuckles, brakes and rotors). I want to get most everything I need and have it all cleaned up before I get the kit. I don't want to have the kit sitting there waiting for xyz part. And I don't want to be tempted to put anything that's not cleaned up and just right on it. I don't have a 'date' set in time other than it'll be done when it's done.

 

There were alot of those Cobras at the NASA race. I think there were at least a dozen of them in the big bore race.

 

That would be the FFR Spec Racer series. I'm using a Spec Racer, but it won't be spec legal. I can't justify it because all of the events are so far. Mine will be SCCA AP legal and street legal.

What were their lap times like?

I'm undecided on the color... it's a hard decision.

One possibility is Lexus Blue with Arctic white stripes.

Another is some sort of nice metallic green with white stripes.

Mineral gray with black stripes


or maybe yellow with black splotches like 'the cheat'
