Default Pro 5.0 kicks ASS

i just installed my power tower shifter yesterday and i tell ya what its a knight and day difference. i couldnt MAKE myself miss my 2 - 3 gear shift. only downside is the stock plastic knob is too short to thread on properly without it pushing the top part of the knob up (like its going to poke through) so i want to get a good shift knob that has decent grip and wont be too hot here in the summer (had the mac aluminum one on my 93, still have the scar on my hand from it burning me)

what do yall have? and what are your opinions on the "t" handle shifters from B&M

had a pro 5.0 on my old car, the one donnie has now, just bought a steeda tri ax for my new car, I'll see how it works. I personally don't like the t-handles, I use a black ball, approx 2 inches or so.

I have a pro 5.0 with a stock shifter handle that has had about an inch cut off the top.

It's just the way I like it, definately an excellent shifter.

Pro 5.0 all the way, I use a leather FRPP (I think 96-98 Cobra) knob as it is comfortable and very nice looking. I think they go for around $30.

Do you own a Torch Red FRC and tremble every time you drive under I75 on Hwy 60 and look in your rearview mirror? If so you are suffering from what is known as Cobraphobia.

I've got the B&M Ripper in the hatch. It has a leather knob from a friends 2000 GT. The knob is larger than the stock one that come in our cars. I like it, because it fits my hand better.

I've also got the Hurst in the Coupe. It has a plastic ball that came with it. I am not crazy about the ball, but it works for now.
