Pro 5.0 makes some nice shift knobs. The only downside is they look to be metal, which we all know can be quite painful in the summer heat.

I always liked the leather Cobra knobs (found in the 94-98 Cobras). The 99-up leather shift knobs feel great, but they are charcoal instead of being black..so if you are anal retentive about matching whatnots in your car, don't go with any 99-up knob.

Best shift knob I've ever used was a rubber golf ball style knob out of a GTI (threads on to a Focus or Mustang handle). Perfect diameter and excellent grip. No matter how sweaty my hand became at an auto-x, I never missed a shift from my hand slipping off the knob.

Sorry...I actually should have specified this is an aftermarket knob. It has a 12mm thread size on it. Exact same as the Focus, and I test fit it on a Mustang...and it threaded on. You may want to double check the thread size on the Mustang shifter handle though.

Its made by Kamei. I purchased mine through FocusSport/EuroSport out of Anaheim, CA. Think I only paid like $10-15 for it.

I still have mine if you wanted to check it out. I'm not selling it, but you can test fit it on your car or whatever.

Im using a tri-ax on mine and so far so good. Ive got a black "8-ball" sized knob on it. Feels a lot better then the metal one that I tried before. It just gets too hot.
