Default wanting to put 1.7s on my stock 92

what should a set of 1.7s cost for my 92 302. new or used, what should i expect in performace for now, later i will be adding a cam and heads, also will they work on a 351 later?thanks

I would not do it reason being is that there might be piston valve probblems?

on a stock mustang 1.7 rockers will have plenty of clearance over the pistons as far as price goes i picked mine up from a swap meet for dirt cheap

They will fit???????????????? I heard by a buddy of mine that did it and they hit. He had to shave his pistons.

no i have them on my stang right now. and i had them on another 5.0 before with the b303 cam with the b cam it brought the overall lift up to like 512 or somewhere around there

You wont have any problems with installing them, and as far as increasing the lift they dont, they just increase the duration... longer stroke keeps the valve open longer... The only thing you will have to shave is the inside of the valve cover... nota biggy. just my .02

that was probabily the problem i just self ported my own stock heads with a torker 2 intake ,holley 650 double pumper, b303 cam, and a 100 shot and ran a 7.2 pretty good for a damn near stock motor

FYI, I've got some Dove Billet Aluminum 1.7 rockers for sale for $150..
Normally over $300 new.. Let me know if interested.
