I put 1.7's in my 88 and I have never had any problems. I'm all stock internally other than that. They also clear my stock valve covers just fine.

another set of welds, different offset, got a good deal and upgraded, got another mustang a couple of weeks ago,strait coupe. thats messed up isnt it!
