My suggestion is to take that piece of garbage Pacesetter header back to wherever you bought it. Use the money you saved from the return and the coating to purchase a Focus Sport 4-1 race header. My Focus saw excellent gains with merely this header and exhaust.

Don't waste your time and money on that Pacesetter. They are cheaply built, they crack much sooner than others, and they produce hardly any return on your investment. If you are dead set on getting a "shorty" style header, go with the JBA. They are the only one on the market with a lifetime warranty...which you will need because they will ALL eventually crack at the welds.

Drop a B16 in it. They come extremely sandbagged from the factory, due to a very restricive exhaust. Open it up with a fartcan muffler and you can easily make 300+whp.

Crower Stage 2 cams really woke my car up (no noticeable loss of low end, but strong pull all the way up to redline). They are pretty cheap and take less than an hour to install.

Get an MSD coil pack, some good wires and plugs to complement it sometime too. The Accel coil packs last about 12-20k miles from what most people have said. Whereas te MSD has had over 60k on my car with no signs of loss of spark

I think I paid $260 for my Crower Stage 2's. You definately need to get cam gears at the same time. I loved my FocusSport/Kent cam gears.

If you are interested, I have a B&M short throw shifter and a FocusCentral offroad pipe that will work on your car. Shoot me a PM if you are interested.
