The Crower Stage 2 cams are a street/strip grind. Great for naturally aspirated motors. They give excellent mid to high range power. You'll notice your car feels like power drops off/levels out about 1000-1500 rpm from redline. The profile on these cams provided very strong pull all the way up to redline. Register at focaljet.com and checkout TeamCFL. A few of the local guys have these cams and love them.

I'll sell you the B&M shifter $70 and I'll even install it for you. New they go for $160. Comes with billet aluminum shift knob and reverse lockout which are brand spankin new still in the plastic wrap (I never used them with the shifter). Let me know.

 

What motor are we talking about BTW? Sorry but I don't think I caught that? Is it the SPI or the Zetec? Do the pots mod if it's either or, best $6 you'll spend

 

Thankfully the ZX3 (i.e. hatch) only came with the Zetec or the 2.3l Duratec/PZEV.

And there isn't anything wrong with a SOHC, I'm probably one of the few actually moddin' one though I push the same torque as the DOHC's , just a few less ponies

Do the IAT/ECT pots mod then if your not going to chip it

I also have a Kent Cams cam gear belt. Much stronger than the pos OEM rubber belt. Defiantely a must with Crower Stage 2's with the more aggressive profiles, making it an interference motor.

PaceSetter doesn't know what they are doing with the Ford 4 cylinders. They have had the wrong exhaust firing order since the late 80's and they haven't changed the order since, just the flanges . Just some FYI
