Forgive me but why is the SVO being sold there Alan?

Original plan was to keep the SVO as a project car and have the xB as a daily driver. Expenses (insurance mainly) proved to be a bit too much to be able to keep the SVO in its current condition (i.e. it would sit and rot because I couldn't afford to take care of it). So...she has to go to a new home.

Well man sorry to hear, I know the Insurance woe's. Damn ZX2 for some reason is classified as a sports car, my insurance at one time was $400 a month.
Xb eh, definitely wanna check it out if you get one or got one. Looking at that or the Element to replace my Rodeo soon....

I already have the xB. I looked into the Element as well, and it was just a bit too expensive for me. Plus I think the xB gets a bit better gas mileage, but that is most likely attributed to the lighter weight/smaller size.

Alan I feel your pain on the insurence thing. They were wanting 400 a month for me full coverage. I ended up putting the insurence under a family member that is 25 and a female and it went all the way down to 35/month full coverage and they even know what it is.
Somthing you might want to consider is collector insurence if you drive mainly the xb and don't put to many miles on the svo u can get a different form of insurence.

Specialty companies like Haggerty will not insure you if you have any tickets in the last three years. I have been waiting almost this long for my wife's ticket to drop off so I can insure the Mustang there as a show car.
Full coverage for a year is $550 through Haggerty.

I saw this read and thought to myself "What the hell...I don't remember making this thread." The only problem with the "speciality car" type insurance is you have to have proof the car is garaged (at least this is the case with most companies). I have no garage.
