Tyler, except for paint almost everything on this car is 100%, actually I can and will get at least 85-90% of my investment back.... I got good deals on most parts I bought...

If this is the case then what are you worried about ?
On paper it might look like you will get most of your money back but it almost never pans out that way.
Personally I would not be able to go that far with a car just to part it out and see its potential.

A buddy of mine in Bradenton just picked up a coupe that went 8.20's in the 1/4 on stock suspension. Paint is perfect, interior is perfect, funny car cage, brand new monocoque wheels and tires, car is COMPLETE race ready except for motor/tranny. He got it for $3500. Good luck getting $10k.

Sounds like he got a steal - It's posted for $4500 in cars for sale already... It's a sharp car with a lot of work... All depends on the buyer I guess.
I never mentioned 10K for it.... but the rest of the parts will fetch that much on their own...

the parts are all listed in the classifieds with prices. I know I won't have a problem selling them so I'm pretty firm on them...
