Hmmmm...let see:

I could continue to drive around a very rare 20-year old Mustang as a daily driver in the summer with no working A/C. And, if something were to break, chances are I'd be down a week and end up paying $500 for a rental car.

Or...drive the Scion with absolutely no worries because the warranty will take care of me for the next 7 years or 100k miles. No renting cars, that is covered by warranty. No paying for a tow, that is covered by warranty.

The Scion fits my lifestyle as of this moment. Not to sound like an ass but if people don't like the xB, I quite frankly could give two shits. I'll have another Mustang eventually when I am damn good and ready.

The one thing I would point out is if your svo is nice and is good mechanical condition it shouldn't break down. Now the xb even though it is new will have problems, granted they are covered under warrenty but it's a pia to have you car in the shop all the time.

Good luck either way.

Just because it shouldn't break down, doesn't mean it won't. Good point though.

BTW...check your PMs.

Don't listen to all the biatches that are hating on the Scion.

Eventually everyone that can afford it, realizes that having an economical/practical/dependeble car with great mpg for a daily driver and a fun/fast/classic project car on the weekends is the way to go. If you can't afford to keep the SVO, then a reliable daily driver definatelly takes priority over it.

BTW if the price is right the SVO might be sharing a good home with my blue beastie.

Why do you think I drive an Escort? Because it fits my lifestyle. Cheap to fix, cheap to maintain, cheap to insure. If I can make it quick with the few times I have spare money then it's even better. I love finding new ways to go faster for less money. It's not being ghetto it's using you're brain If I could afford a new vehicle I would buy one, but this $900 car that costs $50 a month to insure, gets 40+MPG highway, and is rarely broke for the beating it takes, is hard to beat
