I was at a speed shop today and there was a 2001 mustang out front with the trunk open. There were 2 10lb bottles in it. I was inside and started talking to the owner. I asked what he was spraying and he replied with 150 shot. He then told me he took it down to Bradenton and went 10.30's in it. I asked what was done and he said alot. We went outside and it didnt look like much from the outside of the motor. Not that that means anything. The car was white with Idlewild stickers on it. I didnt belive the guy and he didnt seem to know what he was talking about. My question is what should an 01 with 150 shot and some mods do in the 1/4? I dont think it's 10's

 

no fucking way in hell,my car with a 150 shot would be lucky to run a 10.30.

 

Impossible with only a 150. Maybe low to mid 11s with a 150 shot and lots of bolt ons.

 

The main reason for my doubt of his times was the fact that it didnt seem like it had any suspension work. Normaly i would have said he is full of shit but you never know. Besides you cant always tell by just looking. I was i had had my coupe with me because i would have definately asked him for a run. Especially because he had 2 full bottles and they had bottle heaters and openers attached to them.

 

Would have been a nice kill, after you beat him he would probably think you were in the 9s,

 

hahaha, i dont think so.........maybe if he had every suspension bolt on available, some internal work done so he could spray to like 9k, and a good set of slicks, maybe he'd hit a 10.999

4.6 with bolt-on's +150 shot and stock suspension=low to mid 12's with good driver.

 

he'd have to have some MAJOR! internal work/mods, basically the motor would have to be making at least 400rwhp alone + the 150 shot, and he'd have to put it all to the ground somehow......
