EFI This !
Just be glad you are here in FL instead of NC. The temperature changes between seasons would make your carb require mucho adjustment. Also be glad it isn't a daily driver. Blow through on a track only\once in a while driver is fine but for a daily I would want EFI.

It just seems that EFI cars have more adaptability, especially when it comes down to Florida's ever changing climate and humidity. Compensation on the fly is always a cool feature.

Carb'd motors still own the world when it comes to NA power.
so pllllbbbbbbbbbbtttt!
Either combo can make great power, just depends on the tuner and the setup. With a carb setup, didn't always have to fool with the jets based on the weather, lot of it is timing and fuel pressure which I could/can do outside of any electronics.
As far as adjustability, I'm still learning on what my Digital 7 programable can do, but it's got quite a bit..

You go !

I think these EFI dooods think we smell like gas and have the carb apart all the time.
Mine has not bene apart since it got off the dyno a few months ago and the weather has changed quit a bit since then.Just glad to see the Ford foum can lay the smack down on the other foums hands down.

I can tell you from personal experiance that a friend of mine had his carb apart many a time to tune it for weather conditions on a 9 second nitrous car during the summer season. So yeah, keep going with the generic tune the carbs have to offer, I promise I will only snicker in private when it does not go your way. I'll still respect the combo you're running and offer unlimited sympathy since you are doing something unique, but the "I told you so" voice will always be there. Unique is only cool until it breaks and costs you more in the long run than other proven combinations. I've found that there is a reason why the masses run a certain way. They let the few risk takers make all of the costly mistakes and learn from them in both a tuning and financial way. Still love the turbo/carb combo, but I wouldn't suggest it to anyone I know based on a few internet dyno sheets/time slips.
As for now, the "I should sleep" voice is returning...can't wait to check this thread in the A.M.
