I'm still sceptical. I'll pick a Civic or Corolla ($13,000 to $17,000 price range) over a Focus any day. They should survey the same Focus owners in ten years to see how they're holding up, not when the car is brand new.

I'll hand it to Ford though, they have been increasing build quality, fit and finish, etc. And it shows on the the new Mustang, although it is reaching $30,000 territory.
