today I called up Dwans(sp) and I asked what he could do for me and my 1968 302 heads here is what we came up with

your going to potentially spend 947 dollars on stock heads, if you have them ported as big as they can go. you can go get twisted wedge aluminum heads from blue oval corral for $100 dollars more and get better flow, bigger intake valves and they will be 40lbs lighter.

Buy a set of used GT40's and have some work done to them. Or buy a set of used aftermarket heads. Regardless they will still flow more than those garbage heads you want to hang onto AND you won't be kicking yourself in the balls for spending all that money on some glorfied cast-iron yard ornaments. Not trying to be an asshole, but I'd hate to see you waste all that money on those heads and just be unhappy in the end. My .02
