on the 2.3 A4LD Fox cars, there is a bracket that bolts in on each side of the car immediately behind the normal tranny crossmember location since this tranny is longer than the T5/AOD. Perhaps you need something similar for your car? Maybe get Mark (Bightmark) to look under his car since he's got an SN95 Cobra.

How is this so difficult to figure out? Take a piece of rigid square tubing and have it welded(or bolt it up) to the position you need it for the tranny mount to bolt to the tubing.

Dustin, he's not talking about cutting the car, just the $30 removable trans crossmember. I'd rather cut/weld and possibly fuck up a crossmember than have to buy a GT tailhousing, R&R it, and hope the tailshaft bushing and seal are OK.
