i heard that the 06 Cobra will have a turbocharged carb 302 in it...

I hear rumor they are goign to follow Chevy and put a 4 cyl in it like the mailbu .

 

I would guess a 5.4L with a Whipple.

 

straight from whipple, they said that they were prototyping a 2.3l twin screw for the '03 cobra the same that would be used on the '06 cobras and lightnings. It was posted on svtperformance.

 

well , they should put an ls1 in it....... god only knows if they did that you could buy a lid and catback and go like 10.99 at 156mph.......



but really, i would say they will use the 5.4 from the new lightning...... its supposed to be 500hp and the 5.4 liter will fit sith a large hood so.........

 

I heard there gonna make it wimpy because there are no more Camaro's and TA's to chase around, ,lol! Humm I honestly hope it's bigger and better so if and when the F body comes back it will have to be stout! God knows who wants another Tbird?? What a disgrace to the name!

 

I think they are forgetting about the f-body and goign after the viper and vette.
