Default compression testing the 4.6l/modulars

i havent researched this too much, but i figured i could get the low down here faster....

anyway, i take it a regular compression tester wouldnt work because of the deep ass holes for the plugs, so this brings me to my question.....

how do you do it, is there a special tester or adapter i need, and if so where can i locate one........

any help is appreciated

I had to use one that has about a foot long hose and at the end was the threaded piece that your screw into the spark plug hole. Just make sure you disconnect the coil packs and cut the fuel off. You can cut the fuel off by the fuel shut off in the trunk. Just bang on it and you'll hear make a noise. It's designed for impacts. Once done just press the red button. -Mark
