Default pricing report?

just wondering if their are any web sites that would give an accurate price on a heavily modified vehicle(my car). the book value right now is like $8,800 with the milage that on the odometer but my car has actually about 500 miles on it right now and about $15,000 in parts and mods. i was actually thinking about selling and getting a new cobra after the 04's come out.

I've bought/sold numerous modified vehicles - you will never get close what you put into them modification wise. Vehicles are not an investment, they depreciate quickly. You may be able to get a bit over the blue book value if you find someone that knows what the car has into it - but in all likelihood -you'd probably be best served taking the aftermarket parts off and selling them and returning closely to stock as possible.

What did it was all the 0% and low intrest rates. Luckily you don't have a Saturn or Mitsu, they are worse. A year later my truck is only worth $12k, bought a year ago for the sticker price of 25k(far from what I paid but).

Didn't you buy it close to sticker?

On my 2003 Mountaineer it stickered at $34k and I got it for $26k after rebates and invoice pricing. Think of the people who paid sticker on it, they are already $8k in the hole. That is why I never get a car/truck right when it comes out unless I am prepared to take the hit.

A buddy paid sticker for his 03 Cobra, look at what Brandon Ford was selling them for a few months ago. He is in the red pretty bad too but he had to have one of the first. Not a big deal if you plan on keeping it but a bad choice if you are fickle or in need of money.

Do you own a Torch Red FRC and tremble every time you drive under I75 on Hwy 60 and look in your rearview mirror? If so you are suffering from what is known as Cobraphobia.
