Don't know if I am a expert but that is a small intercooler and you could assemble all the parts on your own much cheaper. The power gains of 500-1000 hp is also obsurd especially with that small of a turbo. Also I do not see any mention of what type of tubing he is using.
Last but not least a pre-fit kit is not necessarily going to fit from one car to the next. There are way to many variables so the piping would most certainly need to be modified.

That's the HP Performance kit. http://www.turbochargedpower.com/79-93%20Mustang.htm
It looks to be a really nice kit. That's the one that Copmaggot is installing in his car. The price on ebay is the same as the factory price. I'd go with factory direct at the above website.

Damn some of you guys can't read can you? It says clearly that his Stage I kit produces approx 550hp. It then goes on to say they have staged upgrades to 1000hp.
I don't see anything in there that says this one kit supports 500 to 1000hp.
550hp is beliveable at the crank. Looks like a nice complete kit to me. I'm sure the piping is mild steel then JHC'd to prevent rusting and heat dispertion.
I agree with Tony go direct if for nothing else technical support.

Yeah it sounded like it in print. I'm just very sceptical about product claims, from being burned too many times. I'll have to see what kind of numbers Copmagnet is putting down. He seems to have the same setup as me.

That's the first thing that occured to me. Everyone will have different heads, intake, etc.

That turbo will move about 550hp worth of air. Of course its up to you to make the HP with that air. As with most kits, very nice quality, but way overpriced compared to what you can piece together (especially if you know someone who can weld). That turbo will run about $800 brand new, so you can do the math as to what you can put that kit together for.
