Congrats Alan, that thing is clean as hell. My friend has a bi-wing from his SVO he'd get rid of, but it probably sags.
Like I said, there were single wing optioned cars, so don't worry TOO much about it.
Oh yeah, my headgasket will be in tomorrow so I should be ready for track day. I better get to run you there. I'll probably bring the trailer too just in case.

That car belonged to Glen, a Lakeland MMNA member. Your right about how clean it is, he takes great care of all his toy's. Congrats on the purchase.

I may be interested in the bi-wing, but I'm really interested in finding out exactly which wing was on the single wing option in '86. I'm guessing it was just an '86 GT wing?
Yes Glenn was the previous owner. Super nice guy with some very nice Mustangs in the stable. I was shocked by how clean this car was under the hood. It practically looks like a showcar under the hood minus all the bling bling.

nice ride, i think you will have some fun with this car, i raced one of those things leaving moroso, it was hooked up but it hauled some serious ass! i;ve always liked the SVO's they are just one of those neat cars that i think alot more people would own if they werent so rare..........
PS> alans focus is very nice ! i think that is a steal at that price !

Bolt pattern is the same as the SN95. Unfortunately the 99 Cobra wheels will not fit, and I am unsure about the 98's. I saw a picture of an SVO with a set of 97 Cobra wheels...looked HAWT! So I'm thinking either the polished 97 Cobra wheels, or those tri-spoke 17inch GT wheels powdercoated black with a polished lip (i.e. '93 Cobra R lookalikes).
But I'll be rolling around on the SVO stockers for a while. When she needs tires I'll look into some 17's.

Alan, I THINK the single wing SVO's had the LX wing.
As far as launching it, just run it like a normal car. No need to build boost at the line cause it will just spin anyway. My headgaset is ready at the store so God willing I'll be able to play at track day
