That nose doesn't look like an 86 nose. I'm not too familiar with teh SVO's but I know it's not an 86 GT nose.

We went out to Lakeland to look at it today. I shit you not, this car is beyond clean. Every Mustang he has is mint and clean (66 convert, 03 Mach, ect ect). It needs a few odds and ends, but not too shabby for an 18 year old fox.

There is a new aftermarket aluminum head for the 2.3 Ford. It is $1600 though but hey it will make more power and thats good right?

Good news. "Financing" came through. Hopefully I'll be able to pick it up before the weekend.

Heh...I don't think I'm going to dive into a cylinder head just yet. The only thing I'm changing in the immediate future is installing a set of either Koni Yellows or Tokico Blues with 1" Eibach progressive rate springs. Then open up the exhaust with a 3" downpipe and single exhaust...and perhaps a MAF conversion and FMIC. But whatever I do, all the original parts are getting stored.


Now my next task at hand is getting rid of the Focus. Once I put it back to stock the stalling problem will go away (it has to be the horrible exhaust leak at the collector, its the only thing I haven't fiddled with yet). So if anyone you know is looking for a newer beater, or a first time car for a teenager or whatever...please let them know. I'm only asking $4900...Blue Book is approximately $5300.
