Default Sweet...yet another Focus recall

Recieved a nice xmas letter from Ford today. They are finally making the faulty 00-01 fuel pumps an official recall. This has been a known problem for almost two years now.

Since I screwed with my fuel pump wiring harness, I wonder if they will still replace mine.

I think the best thing from Ford that you could get right now for that car is a generous offer to purchase it back. Wow, glad I don't have mine anymore.

Hah, It's been a "silent" recall aka extra warranty on the pump for a quite a few months.

Damn son.

I know you will hate me, but my '02 has nary a recall and I have had only 2 real problems. One was a sensor in the head went bad and I had a problem with the sunroof. The head sensor was no biggie and they completely replaced my sunroof track.
