riight, considering ford sends it out at the same time to everyone and like i said the software was just recieved by the dealers about a month ago *sighs* get out of my thread and quit starting stuff *rawr*

 

Not startign stuff but I do work for Ford and have for the past 4 1/2 years. If you contact Ford with an issue they do send you info on how to fix it. WHen enough complaints have been called on about a problem they issue a TSB or if they fidn it they send it out to you ie. a TSB or Recall. Wasn't trying to bust your balls but I guess you took it that way. Hell I knew of the fix for the 6.0 litre diesel 5 months ago and they just recently released the fix for it.

 

It was one of those "silent recall" deals for a while. People bitched about this problem since day one with the SVT. It took them about a year to fix the problem with the PCM, and until now you wouldn't know about it unless you told Ford about the symptoms. But I guess just now they are making it public.

This seems kind of shady to me, but you can't blame Ford for trying to space out all the Focus problems over a longer period of time.
