Default Getting me a mustang

It's been 5 years or so since my Ex talked me out of selling my mustang. The second I signed the title I regreted it and to think I took the money and bought a Beretta. Anyways this nice old couple had brought their old car in to get some service done. Well while it was sitting htere the old guy decided time to buy a new car. Well the ygot a new Focus and traded in their 1972 mustang. It's got a 302 and is totally stock. It's has under 100,00 miles on it from what the service manager told me. I know it has a C4 and a whopping 136 h.p. w/8.5:1.

Does it have a 9" or 8" rear end?

Granted it is stock what are some suggestions of where to start?

Heads?
Carb?
Intake?
Headers?
Shift kit?

Drop me a line or two about what you guys think.

Heads/Cam/Intake never hurt anyone ... and some people would still consider it a stock mustang

the 1972 mustangs had VTEC. If u get new cams it will bump the PSI to 22 pounds of pressure. . .

in the tires.

LOL Graves, get that shit and slap a blower on it

with 8.5.1 compression he could put big block valves in there w/out a problem.
