Getting me a mustang
Cuz thats ghetto to spend all that money on them nice parts and not even freshen up the bottom end. Your going to chance over $3,000 worth of parts on a 100,000 mile bottom end? I would AT LEAST replace the bearings.

First thing to do on the older Stangs is work over the suspension, steering and brakes. They are tanks and drive like crap but the fixes are out there. The '72 is the pig of the Classic Stangs as far as performance goes. They were the heaviest and also the most smog choked of the group. Any opportunity you have to shed some weight will help. And there are fixes for the other things too. Just fab up a turbo kit for it and go have some fun. Is it a coupe or a fastback? I have had 2 '69 Mach I's, a '71 Mach I and the ex wife had a '72 Mach I coupe.
Actually, the '73's were the heaviest...but who's counting?
